Mounting Individual Chrome Letter and Number Emblems
Mounting Instructions

ITEMS NEEDED: Isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol, masking tape  

ITEMS INCLUDED:   
Individual Chrome plastic Letters and/or numbers
1- Adhesive Promoter

1.  First, wash the area on the car where you are to mount the emblems with soap and water.  Next, wipe down the area with some rubbing alcohol.  This will help remove any oils that are on the paint surface.  It will not hurt your paint..  

2.  Now take your new emblem and without peeling off the backing hold it up to the spot where it is to be mounted.  Become familiar with where it will mount.   

3.   Place masking tape in an "L" shape to guide you where to mount your letters.  See diagram 1 below.

4.  Once you are satisfied, take your packet of promoter included and wipe the area using the damp towelette where the new emblem will mount (this will not hurt your paint).

5.  Peel the liner off the back of the new emblems one at a time and carefully and slowly hold it up to the spot where it is to be mounted.  Gently set the new emblem in place without pressing on it.  Now press firmly on the new emblem all over it's surface to form a tight bond.  Do this to each letter or number that you have. 

6.  Carefully wipe the emblem and area around each letter or number with rubbing alcohol to clean the area of any residue.   Remove the masking tape.  You're done!

If you have used any products to make your cars surface "shine" you will need to make an extra effort in cleaning and preparing the surface for installation.   

Please be careful - Once the backing is removed exposing the sticky surface the letters or numbers are no longer returnable.  Once they are stuck on once you may not remove and remount them.
Returns are allowed only for parts with manufacturing defects. Installation errors are not manufacturing defects and parts can not be returned do to improper installation.

Note: Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. It is a good idea to lightly dust your cover with a clean soft cloth first in order to prevent any particles from scratching it. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth) with a good quality streak free glass cleaner.
